In the 1970s, Billy Steen, Sr. began buying, fixing, and selling used tractors and farm equipment right from the roadside. What started as a hands-on passion quickly turned into a growing side business. By 1979, with $10,000 in savings and a leap of faith from his wife, Bille Jean, Billy left his full-time job to build something lasting. In 1980, Steen Enterprises was born.

As demand grew, so did the dealership. Steen Enterprises expanded its lineup, added trusted equipment brands, and found a strong partner in Kubota, which soon became the cornerstone of the business. With that growth came opportunity. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Billy’s sons, Billy Jr., Adam, and Andy, joined the company, solidifying Steen Enterprises as a multi-generation, family-owned dealership.

Today, Steen Enterprises proudly serves landowners and contractors across the Southeast with Kubota and Hitachi equipment, parts, service, and expertly matched tractor packages. Our commitment to customer care remains unchanged, and we are honored to be recognized as a Kubota Elite dealership and one of the largest Kubota dealers in the region.
